Yep, our 27mth old tot is still breastfed! lol
And he sure isn't looking like he's giving up any time soon, and that's totally fine with his Muma and Daddy, he'll let us know when he's ready ;)
As parents, it makes us so very proud to see our tot modelling attachment parenting, as he sees us do it with him. He has been known to try to comfort other babes, seemingly being left to "cry it out", even once hugging a baby monitor at a friends place because he could hear the baby crying! lol
This week, he has started to model breastfeeding.......
He lifted his top up and offered his knitted doll "dat booby"
Very proud of his efforts ;)
Now "udder booby"!
And finish with a lil burp *pat pat "boorp?"
I also love that his older cousins are learning about breastfeeding, even though they were all weaned too young to remember their own experience....when they hear JackJack cry, they say "Aunty Jen, he needs your booby"!
It's also lovely to know how supportive of breastfeeding Tyler is, it's a pretty awesome feeling when your hubby comes home and tells you a story....that at his first aid course last weekend, Baby Dummy's head came off and when it was put back on, Tyler positioned Baby Dummy onto Mummy Dummy and announced "this baby needs booby juice!" lol
Oh, where's JackJack?!
There he is!!
Gorgeous lil fella xxx
