Booby tot knows what's best!

Yep, our 27mth old tot is still breastfed! lol
And he sure isn't looking like he's giving up any time soon, and that's totally fine with his Muma and Daddy, he'll let us know when he's ready ;)

As parents, it makes us so very proud to see our tot modelling attachment parenting, as he sees us do it with him.  He has been known to try to comfort other babes, seemingly being left to "cry it out", even once hugging a baby monitor at a friends place because he could hear the baby crying! lol
This week, he has started to model breastfeeding.......

He lifted his top up and offered his knitted doll "dat booby"

Very proud of his efforts ;)

Now "udder booby"!

And finish with a lil burp *pat pat "boorp?"

I also love that his older cousins are learning about breastfeeding, even though they were all weaned too young to remember their own experience....when they hear JackJack cry, they say "Aunty Jen, he needs your booby"!
It's also lovely to know how supportive of breastfeeding Tyler is, it's a pretty awesome feeling when your hubby comes home and tells you a story....that at his first aid course last weekend, Baby Dummy's head came off and when it was put back on, Tyler positioned Baby Dummy onto Mummy Dummy and announced "this baby needs booby juice!" lol

Oh, where's JackJack?!

There he is!!

Gorgeous lil fella xxx

Spring has sprung!!

It's the second month into Spring and the weather has finally come to join the party!!
The last few days here have been nothing short of awesome, park weather, BBQ weather, beach weather.
Unfortunately, we're back in hibernation, so much sickness and injuries have hit our little family....we've barely seen any of our mates and I really didn't like our crappy rental house before this, now I'm so sick of the sight of this place I could scream! lol
Anyway, we have managed some backyard play, which is fantastic coz the gorgeous wisteria is blooming out there and it smells Divine!
Bee's bum! haha
Insects playing and busily working, amongst the beautiful wisteria

Another bee's bottom, poking outta the wisteria

Busy little bee

How awesome is this shot?!!
I have the most basic of cameras, yet look at the details of the bee you can see, amazing!

JackJack and Muma in front of our gorgeous wisteria.... Jack is not well here :(

Excitedly searching for bees!!

Found a stripey worm under the lemon tree

Yay, one of my boys is keen to mow the lawn....pity it's not the one with the real mower!

Nanny's garden

This is my fave succulent, both Nanny and us have it in our gardens, which we struck from clippings we took from Grandma's garden before her house was sold

Flowers at the base of a rosemary bush, gifted to Nanny from my bro's family

One of many happy daffodils that JackJack helped Nanny plant in her garden.

Happy Spring everyone!!!
