Spontaineous invigorating beach play...

Every second week, after music, we stop off at the visitor centre at the beach to top up the Etag, ready for our drive to Circle.  Last fortnight the council were doing some repairs to the promenade and there was some diggers and other machinery there, JackJack remembered this when we got out of the car last week and asked "Where twactor?".  So, not needing to rush anywhere, we stopped to explore for a while!

The water was so choppy with the wintry weather, and Jack was enjoying being pushed around a bit and licked by the wind
Appearances can be deceiving.....it looks like Jack is enjoying exploring the pier, but alas for him, Muma is afraid of pier walking....this is over the shallow water, still over land, and my hand is holding onto his feet for fear he'll fall in!
I'll leave the other end of the pier for his Daddy to introduce him to ;)
Veeeeeery windy
Down onto the sand....
Under the pier....
Other side of the pier....
Who needs a professional photographer with her fancy camera?
I got some pretty good shots, and my camera is a basic model ;-P
Hello shadows!!
Look closely, there's a faint rainbow in the right of this pic ;)
The boardwalk along the river...
Under the bridge...
Climbing stairs to the bridge...
With each foot forward, "Steeep! Steeep!" lol
Almost at the top, and with no help from Muma!
Watching over the mouth of the river....
Disappointing to find no tractors, then no boats....not one!  Even looking over to the yacht club, couldn't find one in the yard to point out
Lol Nice to see I'm not the only Muma taking my tot out in this invigorating wind...there's another tot and muma at the bottom of the bridge....
Chasing shadow....
Hello birdy!
Jack seemed under the impression this bronzed bird might squawk and fly away at any second!
Chippies!!!
As we approached this sculpture, I pictured him doing this in my mind, but was hilarious to see our "tarto"(potato) mad tot trying to pinch a bronzed chippy!! lmao
Back through the picnic area, to our warm car ;)
