Women's Circle - week 3

Oh my golly, I love fridays.....love love love women's circle!  It nourishes my soul ;)
This week, we all expressed how much we missed our circle, we had had a gap of 2wks this time, as have the circle was busy last friday, so we missed our little love fest last week.
Firstly, we checked in..... just a little heads up to our fellow women on how our week had been, any hurdles, low points and high points we felt able to share.
I was excited that my report was mostly positive this week!!
My week had involved personal growth, in the form of signing up for bag pipe lessons(AND also knitting lessons, which I forgot to mention!).  I also mentioned Sophie's battles this week, but even that had a positive spin to it, as I have enjoyed watching our little fella be "Dr Jack"....helping Muma keep Sophie calm during her medication time by giving her lovely cuddles and pats, reading stories to her through her mesh windows of the box and talking about her all the time when we're out, hanging out to get home to check on his "Ovee".  We have such a generous caring soul in this little being, it really constantly blows me away!
Tonight, we were blessed to receive gorgeous funky hair cuts, from the lovely Jess ;)
As she set to work on us, one by one, the rest of us had some little solo activities to work on.  Rather then sharing our energies with each other, tonight was about nourishing within ourselves.
We had blank papers, pastels, women's family type magazines, scissors and glue....these were to create a "vision board", kinda like "The Secret"....to put things on the page that we could visualise into our lives.  There was also several packs of tarot cards that we could do our own reading, along with blank exercise books for us to write in if we wished.
I started by checking out the tarot cards, having never had a reading before, I was curious about these.  I looked at 3 different sets before I found a set that felt right to me, and after reading the instructions on how to do it, I did a 4 card reading for myself.  The sceptic in me(thanks Dad! lol) had me wondering if I was just trying to make them fit into my life....but gosh honestly they really rang true!
The first card represented PAST - past influences of the situation
I drew this card....
PURIFICATION
Bare essentials, The naked truth, Wholeness
The second card represented NOW - How the situation is affecting you now
I drew this card...
MOONLIGHT GODDESS
Repressed emotions, Healing, Reflection
The third card represented FUTURE - Possibilities for the future (about 6 months)
I drew this card...
NINE OF HEARTS
Fullfilment, Harmony, Protection
The fourth card represented OUTCOME - Indicates the overall message/lesson; a culmination of everything examined
I drew this card...
WINTER'S END
Regeneration, Rebirth, Positive outcome.
In the moment, I was fitting hope of a near future pregnancy into all of this(as I do try and see it in everything!), but now that I've typed it up here, I'm seeing wonderful personal growth.....that I am now giving myself permission to try new things and venture outside of the bubble I had created around myself, and that this is going to lead to a stronger, confident, self assured me!!
As usual, the dreamy goddess cd was playing in the background.  We've had it playing almost everyday at our house, after I requested a copy because JackJack loved the music at the first week.  He has a particular song he loves, always dances to it, and I told the other women how we noticed that the words at the beginning of the song sound like "latch me, latch me"....which we joke is why he loves the song, coz our booby boy loves a latch!! lol ;)
As I was doing my tarot, JackJack was rather excited to see the return of the pastels(note to self-buy some pastels for home), and had set to work on his own page.  Once I grabbed a page and started looking through the mags for pics, he joined me in browsing and we found lots of trains, buses and cars to cut out for his page...infact he found so many that he got two pages!
I didn't get to finish my page, but for a good reason....it was my turn in the hairdresser seat!!

I had freshly dyed my hair earlier today, so now with Jess's funky cutting....this Muma is feeling pretty spesh ;)

We also got given a piece of calico to decorate for Courtney's bunting banner, for her up-coming homebirth.  I'm so excited, I have a million ideas buzzing in my head, so I shell think over the next few days about what to go with.  This will be my first involvement in blessingway type stuff and feel honoured to be a part of it ;)
