Shoulda stayed in bed.....

Did I break a mirror recently?  Like, seriously dude, what's goin' on??
Yeah, I guess I'm having a bit of a pity party of late :(
But, you know, when you go down, you go waaaay down, and it takes a hell of a lot to climb back up and clear of the shite pile.
Everything is getting to me, every little irritant that I could normally brush off.....like the hyper niece and nephew, I can usually laugh at their craziness and indulge them in their many questions, but not today.  But then, today was an extra crappy day........
Thursday mornings we go down the coast to attend a tots music class.  It's usually a lovely start to our day, and the drive home is filled with Muma and buba continuing the sing songs as we wind down the road and past the beach (oh, side note- JackJack said a new word today, which is "beach", though it sounds like "bitch", oh dear!).  As soon as Jack can see the water he starts excitedly squealing "Bishies! Bishies!" (fishies), and he was right into it today, as was Muma....basking in the joy of my gorgeous little son....when I saw flashing lights!! :-0
Holy moly!!!!!  I was being pulled over :(
This is the schmuck in question......
YES I got a pic of him! Helloooo, would you expect anything less of me? lol
I took this AFTER all the shite, when we returned to collect my car he was busy booking more drivers....is he on commission??
So he was sitting in the middle of the road, and clocked me speeding down the hill, big whoops :(  Then he took my licence and said he'd be 5mins writing the ticket up.
When he returned, he had two tickets :(  Why? Coz my friken licence was bloody expired! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!
Expired by a month, a whole month....had we really gotten that slack??
Was an expensive learning curve in leaving things in the hands of my laid back hubby....so laid back infact that he wasn't the least bit shitty when he saw the almost $600 worth of fines....wtf man, how can you be so calm??
Anyway, coz of the expired licence, he advised that I shouldn't drive home.  He said he'd turn a blind eye if I wanted to drive off and get my son home, but said that no insurance company or TAC would cover me, should we have an accident.  So I tried calling Tyler....thanks to his stupid piece of crap iPhone and it's zero friken reception in the back end of our house, where he would have been in bed, it took a whole friken hour to get a hold of him!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
I was fuming by the time his phone rang!  I'd said to him only days ago that he needs to get something done about the pox phone, before I need him for something important and cant get a hold of him.....trouble is, he's so god damn laid back that this probably won't get him to act on his phone either! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!
After waiting that hour, right through Jack's morning tea time, I am so very thankful of breastfeeding!!  We hadn't packed snacks in the nappy bag, so my golly I was lucky to have my boobies when JackJack was getting distrait with hunger ;)
When Tyler finally showed up, he drove us straight to vicroads to pay for the licence renewal........oh joy, for the next 3yrs my licence photo will remind me of this horrid day, puffy red eyes and all :(
We spotted Mr Highway Patrol booking another driver along the railway tracks, on our way to vicroads, then he was back near my car next to the beach when we got back....booking again.  All in a days work for him huh :(
