Do unto yo biatch as yo biatch should do unto yo!

What's up with the way women talk to each other these days?
Close friends, it seems, favour nicknames such as- biatch, bitch, ho, slut, skank, just to name a few! And these names are used by way of....affection???
Whaaaaat?????
Seriously, it's disgusting, disrespectful and at the very least...setting a poor example for the littlies....or in your language...the mini ho's!!
Sheesh, am I missing something?  Coz, my golly, why is it a horrid insult if a man was to call you any of these names, yet you use it to reffer to your friends whom you love?
Honestly, if not for your own respect of yourselves, take a minute to see what your children see.....that it's ok to call women derogatory names...is that a lesson you want to teach???

hey Jen, I get where your coming from in terms of the lil ones hearing the way people use foul language, I think the term mini ho is revolting but to be honest Meegs and sue and I all refer to each other as ho,it started by us copying the way someone said it in a tv show, and it just stuck we get a giggle out of it because it reminds us of the show which is funny. It is not a term we use in front of our kids, but then neither is the "f" word or other "swear" words, I think that (for me anyways) it just as upsetting to hear a child saying the F word or saying shit etc etc then having the parent laugh and encourage the language. I think that all bad language should be kept out of our mouths and away from our kids as much as possible since they get exposed to it enough on tv,school etc. But I also think that as grown ups we need to be able to let off steam and drop the occasional swear word with other adults. I do agree with you tho that if a man was to say it we would get all up in arms, I think it comes down to intent, like with all words, they can sting and they can also cause laughter.
