Bloody digital camera. Took me a while to come around to it, I much preferred my film camera, loved that all those whoopsy photo's were stuck in there along with the good ones....they were all part of the memories. But then I had a play with Tyler's camera and started to see the benefits....taking endless amounts of silly pics, coz you only had to print the worthy ones....seeing the pic instantly, to make sure you got the shot you were after. I was sold, and now Tyler's camera lives in the nappy bag and I have a reputation like a Japanese tourist....clicking away at anything and everything!
But now our cameras temporarily out of whack, the memory stick has cacked itself(with pics ON it, NOT happy), and I was without a camera today...during family Easter celebrations. Arrrr!!!! Luckily, my Mum put me in charge of hers today(yay!), so as well as making sure on her behalf that I got lots of good shots of the family, I also got plenty of the usual types I like.... funny faces the kids pull, spontaneous hugs of Grandma, food we all proudly made....stuff that for some reason others just don't think to take.
Without my own camera, I feel a part of me is missing! Not having it there within arms reach is weird...Tyler has often joked you could make a flick book of JackJack's life coz I click away so often! It's water off a ducks back to me though, when people think it's funny how many pics I take, coz it's through doing this that you get the amazing shots! For every 100 clicks.....there'll be at least 5 brilliant print worthy ones, and many more you wanna share online. Plus taking so many pics is great practice and you get to know your camera better, what it needs to take the great shot.
Luckily Mum let me bring her camera home with us.....golly knows what I'd do in the morning when our child wakes to see what the Easter Bunny left for him without being behind a camera.....I'd be like a druggie with an itchy arm, looking for a fix ;-P
If only we could take a pic just by blinking at what our own eyes were seeing.....think how cool that'd be!! lol
