Lessons from nature...part two

After discovering our little piece of natures architecture, I realised what a great opportunity this would be to get out my favourite childrens book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  It was one of the books I read to Jack when he was known as Crumpet and lived inside my belly ;)
So we took the book and Jack's little fluffy caterpillar(he got this in lucky dip at Teddybears picnic) and we sat on the porch near the cacoon to read it
Jack is starting to get his appetite back after being really sick, I wondered if he may have been thinking if he ate his caterpillar then he would be infact eating all the yummy foods on the page! lol
Trying so hard to be independent lately, half way through the story he decided it was his turn to read to me!
Jack then decided he wanted to go inside, which turned out to be for a snack, so after our snack(and note-change of clothes because snack was messy!), we got back to reading.
As it came to the part in the story where a butterfly emerges from the cacoon, Muma had a special suprise for Jack that Daddy helped hang up earlier....

A flying butterfly!
Muma actually bought this on a spending spree with my first wage as a teen and never got it outa the box 'til now
Jack loves the butterfly!
He laughs at it flying around over his head and he runs around the bed as if the butterfly is playing chasy with him ;)

Amy, they're actually a pair of Babylegs & an orange minki Babybeehind nappy. Babylegs are cool, I'm a bit addicted! Jack would have about 10 pairs! Anonymous, I'm not sure what it is that you are not understanding so that I may explain better. We have a cacoon in our yard & it inspired me to show my son the book about a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. What's interesting to you if you didn't even understand?
